LAODENG Universe is an EVM-compatible proof-of-work blockchain for personal deployment, LAN experimentation and lightweight public networks. V5 brings deterministic difficulty retargeting, EIP-1559-style gas, full-node synchronization, a native asset and a local explorer into one inspectable system.

LDU is the native asset of the network—not an ERC-20 contract—and is used for gas and value transfer. Protocol version, Chain ID and genesis hash jointly identify the network.

An EIP-1559-style base fee responds to block utilization, is permanently burned, and separates miner priority income.
Common Ethereum JSON-RPC, transfers, contract deployment, calls, logs and Type-2 fee fields are supported.

Coordinators distribute address-bound work to mobile and desktop miners while independently recomputing every proof.
The explorer reads real JSON-RPC data; its SQLite layer is a disposable query index rather than a consensus source.
Proof of Work remains the only block-production and fork-choice consensus in V5. PoWC begins as an incentive and governance layer for security, node operation, development, ecosystem/NFC work and documented governance. It cannot rewrite chain history or change the maximum supply.
